So - what is the zenon Academy?

The zenon Academy is your central access point for all zenon knowledge. Have a look around and freely choose whichever courses you wish. You can watch the videos, do quizzes and gain Certificates at your convenience.

If you prefer face-to-face trainings, simply book one directly from the course catalog.

Which courses does the zenon Academy offer?

Simply put, the zenon Academy offers everything from the very basics of zenon to advanced and in-depth knowledge. We also provide Update courses for new zenon versions showcasing changes and new features of the zenon Software Platform.

Staying up to date has never been so easy.

You can jump in and out of courses to watch specific videos about features and modules that interest you. Our newly developed courses are modular, allowing you to simply jump in where you like and get going.

The Certification System

For those of you who want to show off their knowledge (and why shouldn't you) we offer quizzes to collect points and Certificates. If you already know your way around zenon, you can of course skip the videos and take the corresponding quiz right away.

Our zenon Basic courses will give you a zenon Basic Certificate upon successful completion (this will not come as a surprise). The zenon Plus courses will let you earn points towards a zenon Advanced or even Professional Certificate. Your dashboard displays your current points and their expiration date.

Basic, Advanced & Professional

There are 3 different Certificate levels: Basic, Advanced and Professional. They all build on each other.

For a zenon Basic Certificate you will need to successfully complete all the mandatory quizzes of a zenon Basic course (you can skip the optional ones if you like). Afterwards, you can collect points in zenon Plus courses to proceed to higher levels.

For each quiz in a zenon Plus course you will receive a certain amount of points (the exact amount is stated at each quiz). Collect 150 points for a zenon Advanced Certificate and 300 points for a zenon Professional Certificate.

Your Certificates

Your zenon Basic Certificate is issued for the indicated zenon version and will never expire. In order to update your zenon Basic Certificate to a newer zenon version, simply complete a zenon Update course.

Your points from zenon Plus courses will be valid for 3 years. So make sure to maintain your level of points - that way you will never lose your Advanced or Professional certificates. If you drop below the threshold of the Advanced or Professional Certificate, you can simply earn points again and regain your Certificates.

You can view and download your Certificates via the zenon Academy dashboard at your convenience.

Licenses & downloading the zenon Software Platform

You can use zenon demo licenses to participate in our zenon Academy courses. If you need specific licenses (for example for the Basic Training – Energy), we will point this out at the beginning of the course.

Simply download the zenon Software Platform from the COPA-DATA website. In the filter Select Category activate the checkbox zenon Complete Setup. Then choose the zenon version to download.
